7:30 AM - Wake Up and Jumpstart the Day

Mornings kick off early in Nolita. By 7:30, Kayla was already walking through the doors of Solidcore, a studio known for high-intensity Pilates workouts that wake her up ready for the day. “It's rough - but exactly the kind of tough that gets you ready for whatever the day throws your way”, she explains.

But Solidcore has one downside - no shower. A few years ago, that was almost enough to keep Kayla away. These days, it's a non-issue. After class, she heads just a few short blocks to BELONG NYC, her own thoughtfully designed urban haven in Soho. There, she freshens up in stylish, fully-stocked showers and dressing rooms, giving her an easy transition between workout mode and workout - without having to go back home for a shower.

9:00 AM - Setting In and Working at BELONG NYC

After grabbing a shower and freshening up in the dressing rooms at BELONG - complete with secure lockers, nice changing areas, and everything needed for a quick change. Kayla officially starts her workday. Her favorite desk is the one at the front entrance.

“I love working at the front desk because it keeps me connected,” Kayla says. “I greet our regulars, meet newcomers, and get a real sense of how everyone uses the space. It’s energizing”.

Her day quickly shifts into high gear. As the Chief Marketing Officer of Altamarea Group - the renowned hospitality group behind Ali Fiori, Marea, and Crazy Pizza - Kayla juggles brand strategy, influencer partnerships, creative campaigns, and digital storytelling, all without a traditional office.

“Working from Soho isn’t just practical, and it helps creativity. BELONG gives me the perfect balance between structure and flexibility. I have space to focus, areas to brainstorm, and even a cozy nap pod for those moments when you just need a quick recharge.

6:30 PM - Wrapping Up and Winding Down at Crazy Pizza NYC

By 6:30 PM, Kayla’s day of Zoo calls, strategy sessions, and endless Slack messages finally comes to a close. Switching from Kayla in work mode to Kayla after hours doesn’t take long, mainly because her favourite place is located downstairs.

Crazy Pizza NYC - Altamerea Group's latest addition to Soho is exactly what she needs after a long day. It’s casual, cool, and full of energy. “I usually send a quick text saying ’Hey, meet me downstairs’ and suddenly friends show up, drinks are poured and pizza arrives,” Kayla says “It’s kind of random evening you can only have in New York.”

It's her way of letting her hair down after the work day. Connecting with friends and enjoying what NYC has to offer.
